摘要
本研究以"语法概念迁移"为理论视角,以"英语词类学习母语迁移框架"为数据分析框架,分析了中国英语初学者动词范畴内部子范畴的词类混用,从而探索初学者该类偏误的系统性特征与认知概念根源。通过检索与数据分析发现,中国英语初学者动词范畴内部混用已具有系统性特征。该偏误类型主要集中在动词原形与非限定动词的混用和非限定动词的逃避使用,其认知概念根源是汉语[动词]语法概念范畴系统及其语法概念属性的负迁移。本研究为中国本土的语法概念迁移研究提出了新的思路,为英语动词教与学提供了认知概念层面的启示。
This study identified the systematic features of English word class confusion errors within verb category in the written corpus by Chinese beginning learners of English(CBLE),drawing upon the Framework of L1 Transfer in the Process of English Word Class Learning.To explore the possible factors for these word class confusion errors,this study discussed these errors from the perspective of grammatical conceptual transfer.Through detailed analysis,it was found that word class confusion errors within verb category made by CBLE are high in frequency and various in error types,which focused on the confusion errors between the base form of verbs and the non-finite verbs,and also the avoidance of using the non-finite verbs.The analysis showed that these errors were systematic,and the conceptual reason for these errors was the negative transfer of the grammatical concepts of Chinese[DONG CI]as well as the properties of the grammatical concepts.These findings had proposed a new research idea for the studies of the Chinese localized frameworks of grammatical conceptual transfer.Based upon the findings,some implications for the teaching and learning of English verbs were also provided.
