The conditions of the pellet production line in Bayuquan Branch of Angang Steel Co.,Ltd.was introduced. The problems of leakage of water sealing and material in the pellet circular cooler were analyzed from the multi-aspects and the solutions was proposed. Good results were achieved after taking comprehensive improvement measures including modification of the sand sealing to water sealing. The circular cooler has operated stably,power consumption significantly reduced and the production line run more steadily.
