外国语言学研究70年之一瞥

A Glimpse on the 70-Year Research of Linguistics

本文取名"一瞥",意在强调仅扼要梳理建国70年来的外国(主要是英语)语言学的简史,概述20世纪发生在国外的三场语言学革命(索绪尔、乔姆斯基、雷科夫)及其对我国语言学界的影响。但笔者也发现了第三场革命之不足,主张将其本土化为"体认语言学",突显从唯物论和人本观角度来全面分析语言各层面,从而开辟了语言研究的全新视野。笔者认为,我们在学科研究中当持"象豹观",才能实现"与时俱进、继承发展"之愿景。

"A glimpse" in the title indicates this paper is only concentrated on a simple combing of a short history of 70 years after liberation on linguistics abroad,with a general survey of three linguistic revolutions abroad in the 20th Century(Saussure,Chomsky,Lakoff) and their influences on China’s linguistics circle.But we have also found the shortcomings left by the third revolution,thus nativizing it into "Embodied-Cognitive Linguistics",with the stress on the application of materialism and humanism to the comprehensive analysis of all levels of language,thereby opening a new visual field for linguistic research.The author also thinks that we should adhere to the principle of "Elephant-Leopard View" in our academic research so as to realize the vision of "keeping pace with the times" and "inheriting and developing".
