摘要
本文运用中国家庭金融调查项目(CHFS)2013年的数据,研究了金融素养对商业保险消费决策的影响。实证结果表明:(1)中国居民的金融素养普遍偏低,且家庭商业保险参与度低。(2)金融素养与家庭商业保险的消费可能性以及程度呈正相关关系。(3)金融素养高的消费者更愿意持有商业健康保险以及商业人寿保险,而不愿意持有商业财产保险。(4)财富不平等的扩大会抑制金融素养对家庭商业保险决策的影响效果。本文研究为提高消费者的金融素养,发展普惠金融,以及为转型经济背景下的商业保险发展提供了一个新的视角,在一定程度上对政府、保监会为商业保险市场制定更完善的制度和政策具有现实参考意义。
This paper uses the data of China Family Financial Survey(CHFS)in 2013 to study the impact of financial literacy on commercial insurance consumption decisions.The empirical results show that:(1)The financial literacy of Chinese residents is generally low,and the participation of family commercial insurance is low.(2)Financial literacy is positively correlated with the consumption possibility and degree of family business insurance.(3)Consumers with high financial literacy are more willing to hold commercial health insurance and commercial life insurance than commercial property insurance.(4)The expansion of wealth inequality will inhibit the effect of financial literacy on household commercial insurance decision?making.Through this study,it helps to improve the financial literacy of consumers and develop inclusive finance,and provides a new perspective for the development of commercial insurance in the context of transition economy.To a certain extent,it has practical reference significance for the government and the CIRC to formulate better systems and policies for the commercial insurance market.
