Wu Weiye’s Literary Writing in the Change of the Ming and Qing Dynasties: Centered on Poetry Creation

吴伟业的一生经历了三个重要历史时期:崇祯早期、明清易代之际、清代初期。有关第一时期的诗词创作,表现出吴伟业对繁华富裕的早期崇祯朝的追忆;吴伟业对明清易代之际的记忆,表现在他的个体叙事、军事书写以及他有意记录的社会惨状与对明王朝覆灭的感慨之中;晚年的吴伟业,对自己出仕清朝的经历倍感自责,因而将记忆的图景由广阔的社会现实凝缩成他自己的心灵忏悔。这三个时期表现出三种截然不同的心境,构成了吴伟业独特的晚明记忆。

Wu Weiye(also called Meicun)experienced three important historical periods in his life:the early period of Chongzhen,the period of the change of the Ming and Qing Dynasties,and the early period of the Qing Dynasty.The poetry creation in the first period shows Wu Weiye's recollection of the flourishing rich in the early Chongzhen Dynasty.Wu's memory of the change of the Ming and Qing Dynasties is reflected in his individual narrative,military writing,his intentionally record about social tragedy and his emotion of the collapse of the Ming Dynasty.In his later years,Wu Weiye felt remorse for his experience in the Qing Dynasty,so he condensed the memory from the social reality to his own spiritual confession.These three periods show three different moods,which constitute the Wu’s unique memory of the late Ming Dynasty.
