摘要 The Great Gatsby written by Fitzgerald is an influential classic in American literature,and its author Fitzgerald is consid ered as a chronicler of the“Jazz Age”.There are three main women characters in the novel and they all play important roles in re vealing the theme.Undoubtedly,these women are all the victims of the society in American twenties.This paper tries to analyze the contradictory characters in Daisy based on Jung Carl Gustav’s collective unconscious and personal unconscious.
