The thought of unifying the southern dynasty by the emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty was reflected in discussing Five Virtues’sequence,moving capital to Luoyang,carrying out the reform of Sinicization,taking troops to battle in person and so on.It came mainly from Confucianism,emperors of the Northern Wei Dynasty and the empress dowager Feng.It complied with the trend of our country's historical development and was inherited and developed by later politicians.It is still of reference significance in the 21st century.
