Jane Eyre successfully portrays a woman who dares to fight and has strong resistance to humiliation. In this paper,the protagonist Jane Eyre is analyzed mainly from her role as a rebel,loner,loyal lover and pioneer of the women’s liberation movement. Meanwhile,the inspiration of this role to modern women is also analyzed in order to deepen the readers’ understanding of Jane Eyre and bring more enlightenment to readers.
