This paper reviews the definition,related scales,assessment barriers,published guidelines and criteria on pain assessment in palliative care,and presented a multivariate model of pain assessment.In the hope of accurately assessing the pain of cancer patients in palliative care,further to provide a theoretical basis for taking relevant measures to alleviate pain.
