汉诗词英译中“意象美”的再现——以许渊冲英译诗词为例

意象在中西文学作品中均为构成意境的重要组成部分。诗歌中意象的翻译应充分考虑到原诗的意境和两种语言的文化内涵,采取留、增、转以及省略等不同技巧对原诗意象进行再创造,达到原诗意境美的高度再现。同时,以“求同化异”“求同省异”“求同存异”“求同增异”等作为翻译策略,在寻找人类或两族共性的基础上,灵活对待不同点,实现对汉语古诗词英译中意象美的诠释。

Image is the important artistic conception in Chinese and Western literature works.As for the translation of images in poetry,a full consideration should be taken in terms of contexts in the original poems as well as the cultural connotations.The application of translation skills such as reservation,amplification,conversion and omission can contribute to the recreation of the original images and the representation of the original contexts.Meanwhile,the strategies of reserving and supplementing the difference while seeking common points between cultures can also be used to handle the differences at the same time to pursue the commons so as to better interpret the image beauty in Chinese classical poems.
