摘要
病毒宏基因组学(Viral metagenomics)是一门新兴的用于研究环境及宿主中病毒多样性及其生物学特性学科。为了能够更高效、科学地实现宏病毒组数据分析,本研究建立了一个动物病毒宏基因组数据分析平台。该平台的主要功能包括数据质控、数据的预处理、序列拼接和序列注释等,并根据应用需求,建立了两种基因序列注释策略:基于读长序列分析和基于重叠序列分析。应用该分析平台对一个猪源鼻拭子的混合样品中病毒基因组数据进行了分析,结果显示该样品中存在环状病毒、冠状病毒、细小病毒等60多种病毒,证明该平台可满足动物病毒宏基因组数据分析的需求。动物病毒宏基因组数据分析平台的建立为动物病毒流行病学监测及疾病防控提供有效的技术手段。
Viral metagenomics is an emerging field used to study the diversity and biological characteristics of viruses in the environment and host. It has been widely used in many fields such as the prevention of human diseases and the detection of viruses of animals and plants, etc. To increase the efficacy and scientific analysis of viral metagenomics data, we have established a local data analysis platform for animal viruses. The main functions of the platform include data quality control, data pre-processing,sequence assembly and annotation. To meet the needs of viral metagenomicssequence annotation, two strategies were established including assembly-free analysis and assembly-based analysis. The platform was used to analyze the metagenomic data of a pool of nasal swabs from pigs. The result showed that more than 60 viruses were detected, such as circovirus, coronavirus, and parvovirus in the sample. These data indicate that this platform can meet the needs of animal viral metagenomics data analysis.
