台湾“新国文课纲”有关选文问题的争议

Discussions on the Controversy on Selection of Texts in Taiwan’s New Chinese Curriculum

作者为台湾地区前任“国文课纲修订小组”成员,以亲身经历现身说法的方式,介绍台湾地区近年来“国文课纲”修订之发展情况、争议产生的缘由,以及具体的争议点。其中,具体争议点在于文化基本教材、教科书中的用语,以及课纲规范的文言篇数。最近一次的相关争议,主要发生在文言篇数上。作者指出,课纲中推荐选文的主要作用在于借助相关选文以描绘出传统文化的面貌,为达成此一目的,课纲所规范的文白比例不应低于60%。基于此,课纲主要争议事实上不应该是文白之争,而是比例是否低于60%的问题。台湾当局此次课纲修订,将比例修改至45%以下,这将造成课纲无法完整传达传统文化的后果。因此,此次课纲选文的变化,实质上是一种渐进式的“文化台独”作为。

The author is a former member of the revision group of Taiwan’s Mandarin syllabus.In this paper,the author illustrates the development of the revision of Taiwan’s Mandarin syllabus in recent years,the reasons for the disputes,and the specific disputes.Among them,the specific controversy is about the basic cultural textbooks,the language in textbooks,and the amount of classical Chinese texts in the syllabus norms.The latest related controversy mainly occurred in the amount of classical Chinese texts.The author points out that the main function of the recommended texts in the syllabus is to make a discription of traditional culture with the support of relevant texts.In order to achieve this goal,the proportion of texts in the syllabus should be no less than 60%.Based on this consideration,the main controversy over the curriculum should not be in fact a debate between the Classical or Modern Chinese but whether the proportion should be less than 60%.The author points out that the revised curriculum in Taiwan has changed the proportion to less than 45 percent,which will cause the curriculum to fail to fully convey the traditional culture,so it is indeed a progressive isolating behavior in the culture aspects in Taiwan.
