Support of KMT and CPC to Taiwan Compatriots’ Fight against Japan——Centering on Newspapers and Periodicals

《马关条约》签订后日本将台湾据为殖民地,台湾同胞不屈不挠地进行了各种反抗与斗争。他们的抗日活动与民族精神受到国共两党的关注与支持。中国国民党与中国共产党通过报刊媒体介绍台湾被殖民的状况,对台胞抗日活动进行声援,呼吁光复失土。这种声援和呼吁在20世纪三四十年代日趋增强,并随着太平洋战争的爆发、抗战胜利曙光的渐增而更多地体现在行动上,并转化为中国政府官方的复台立场。

After the signing of The Treaty of Shimonoseki Japan occupied Taiwan as a colony,and Taiwan compatriots persistently carried out various kinds of resistance and struggles.Their anti-Japanese activities and national spirit were supported by the Kuomintang(KMT)and the Communist Party of China(CPC).KMT and CPC introduced to the world Taiwan's colonial situation through the press and media,and expressed their solidarity with the anti-Japanese activities of Taiwan compatriots and called for the recovery of the lost territory.This kind of solidarity and appeal increased day by day in the thirties and forties.With the outbreak of the Pacific War and the dawn of victory in the Anti-Japanese War,it was more and more manifested in actions and turned into the official position of the Chinese government to reunify with Taiwan.
