高师院校开展专业英语课程实践的探索与思考——以《环境科学与工程专业英语》为例

Exploration and Thinking of Professional English Education Practice in Normal Universities——Taking "Environmental Science and Engineering Professional English" as an Example

总结归纳了环境科学与工程专业英语教学实践中发现的若干主要问题,并针对这些问题提出了一系列意见和建议。如针对市面上现有教材无法与各高校实际相吻合的现状,建议各高校根据自身的培养目标要求进行自编教材,并着重加强专业英语教材中的实践部分,从而全面提高学生的"听说读写"能力;此外,针对教师资源缺乏问题,建议对现有师资加强相关专业英语培训,同时采取引进专业素养与英语背景相结合的专业人才等措施,改革改善现有传统的教学模式,大力加强专业英语教学改革。

Several main problems of professional English education in Normal universities were summarized in this paper,and some innovations were made based on the practices.For instance,teaching materials composition were suggested to improve the abilities of"listen,speak,read and write"of students,because of the fact that teaching materials on the market are not coincided with the educational objectives of each university.Besides,brain gain and training were needed to strengthen the faculty and improve the current teaching mode.
