Selenium-enriched rice has many special health-care functions such as anti-cancer,cancer prevention,heart protection,anti-aging,anti-oxidation,elimination of free radicals,and immunity enhancement.After analyzing the problems of selenium-enriched rice planting in Wending Village,Deqing County,highly efficient fertilizers with the best chelating selenium was applied.The selenium content of selenium-enriched rice is fivefold of the state standard by determining the timing and application rate of the fertilizers according to the growth period.
