With the vigorous promotion of prefabricated and assembled buildings by the state,the prefabrication and assembly technology of bridge substructure has been rapidly developed.Combined with the expressway renovation project of Wuxi Fengxiang Road,the various construction methods of bent caps are introduced.Through comparative analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of these construction methods,the segmental prefabricated bent cap scheme is finally selected.The prefabricated bent cap segmental method and the detailed assembling process are introduced,and the construction essentials of each step are summarized.The successful application of prefabricated bent caps in Wuxi Fengxiang Road Overpass provides the reference for the selection and design of the bent cap structures in the similar projects.
