Richard Rorty as a Perspective to the Turn of Theory of Truth from Philosophy to Social Science

There is an evident turn of pragmatic theory of truth from philosophy to social science which is embodied intensively in Richard Rorty s work.Firstly,according to Rorty,Truth is not the accurate representation of reality,but the description made by us.So,the True and the Right are matters of social practice in language.Secondly,therefore,Truth becomes something to be believed in the course of free and open encounters.Rorty considers this course,in light of redemption,as a search of novelty rather than trying to escape from the temporal to the eternal.Thirdly,as a result,Truth signifies a better human future.What this romantic future involves is imagination.Finally,Rorty argues that,with the loss of national romance about a country,America is not the country of the future any more.
