Polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) is a common gynecological endocrine disease, with clinical manifestations of rare menstruation or amenorrhea, infertility, hairy, obesity, disorders of glucose and lipid metabolism.PCOS is a multi-etiological disease which extends from puberty to menopause, presenting a high degree of heterogeneity and involving complex diseases of multiple systems.Studies have found that vitamin D not only regulates the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus and maintains the stability of bone metabolism, but also participates in a series of pathophysiological processes such as host defense, inflammation, immune regulation and tissue repair.Epidemiological, clinical and animal studies have confirmed that vitamin D has a certain relationship with the incidence of PCOS,including the regulation of PCOS follicular development, endocrine metabolism and other pathways.
