"农业学大寨"是中国农村建设史上一个重要事件,产生了广泛的社会动员,在这种背景下的新村建设有其独特的时代特征。通过介绍这一时期农村"新村"的典型案例,分析其形态集合化、规划榜样化、施工动员化三个特征,指出影响其特征产生的要素为消除三大差别的社会理想、人民公社集体化的生活方式与"政社合一"的特点、"大寨"榜样引起的社会动员氛围。并对此时期"新村"规划建设的历史地位作出了评价。
