摘要
英国当代作家玛格丽特·德拉布尔后期创作的《七姐妹》是频频化用神话意象与象征进行文本建构的小说典型,其中象征性的隐喻与人物命运间的张力极大地丰富了文本的内涵与表现的文化寓意。本文主要通过塔尔图-莫斯科符号学派的代表人物尤里·洛特曼的文化符号学理论,从文本的信息生成与意义延伸、神话意象与文化记忆、空间模拟机制等方面进行分析,探究文化内涵、艺术技巧对文本意义扩展的贡献。
The Seven Sisters written by Margaret Drabble,a British contemporary writer,in her later period is a typical novel that frequently displays mythological images and symbols in its fictional construction.Strategies namely the symbolic metaphor and the tension between the destinies of the characters greatly enrich the connotation and the cultural implication of this work.Through the cultural semiotics theory of Yuri Lotman.a representative of the Tartu-Moscow school,this paper mainly analyzes the contributions of cultural connotation and artistry to the extensions of meaning in terms of the following three aspects:information generation and meaning extension of the text,mythological image and cultural memory,and spatial simulation mechanism.
