关于中国传播学研究国际发表的几个事实问题——与韦路教授商榷

Dispute of Several Facts in The International Publications of China's Mainland’s Communication Research: Discussion with Professor Wei Lu

对于实证研究而言,事实至关重要。本文认为,由于数据库的时间覆盖不全以及研究不够细致,《中国传播学研究国际发表的现状与反思》一文存在一些事实错误。本文发现,截止目前,中国学者SSCI传播学期刊论文数量名列全球第六位,中国学者已经开始在传播学国际舞台上崭露头角。同时,近年来我国学者传播学SSCI期刊论文的影响力不断扩大,大陆学者有望成为我国学者中SSCI传播学期刊论文生产的领头羊。本文提出,在实证研究中,研究过程应该清晰透明。使用数据库时,要密切关注其收录范围等相关信息。在对数据进行统计、辨别和分析的时候,需要特别细心。

For empirical research, facts matter. This paper holds that there are some factual errors in The International Publications of China's Mainland’s Communication Research due to the incomplete time coverage of the database and the lack of carefulness in the research. This paper finds that up to now, Chinese scholars have ranked the sixth in the number of papers in SSCI communication journals in the world, and Chinese scholars have begun to emerge on the international communication stage. At the same time, in recent years, the influence of Chinesescholars’ communication studies in SSCI journal has been continuously expanding, and mainland scholars are expected to become the leader in the production of SSCI journal papers among Chinese scholars. This paper proposes that the process should be clear and transparent in empirical research. When using a database, scholars should keep close eyes on the scope and other relevant information and take special care in the statistics, identification and analysis of data.
