王达津先生《文心雕龙》研究系列论文自成体系,从中亦见其治学态度与学术品格,具体表现在三个方面:一是强烈的问题意识与求真务实的治学态度使文章具有非常明确的针对性,而这样的针对性又是基于密切关注学术动态、明辨是非之后有感而发的;二是文章不只是孤立地针对某一理论问题就事论事,而是将其置于广阔的历史文化大背景中,勾连其来龙去脉,体现其宏阔的学术视野、自觉的源流意识以及统摄材料时运筹帷幄的匠心;三是深厚的考证功力,并能将细致的考辨与理论阐发相结合,得出令人信服的结论。

Wang Dajin’s research series of papers on Wenxindiaolong is a self-contained system, from which his academic attitude and academic character can be seen. They are embodied in three aspects: first, the strong awareness of questions and the truth-seeking and pragmatic attitude towards academic research make the articles have a very clear pertinence, and such pertinence is based on paying close attention to academic trends and distinguishing right from wrong;second, the articles not only deal with one theoretical issue in isolation, but also puts it in a broad historical and cultural background, linking its origin and development, and reflecting its broad academic vision, consciousness of the source and flow, and ingenuity in commanding materials;third, it has profound textual research ability, and can combine careful textual research with theoretical interpretation to reach a convincing conclusion.
