课外阅读:中学生语文能力提升的不二法门——基于XX市8所中学的调查

Extracurricular Reading: the Only Way to Improve the Middle School Students’ Language Ability——based on the survey of 8 middle schools in X City

课外阅读是中学生语文能力提升的必经途径。较为广博的课外文学作品阅读能够拓展中学生的视野,增长其学识见识,提高其理解能力、创造力和写作能力。调查发现,目前中学生的阅读状况不容乐观,他们很难有时间从容地进行较多的课外阅读,所以,中学生的阅读力普遍有待提高。全社会对课外阅读的重要性要形成广泛共识,从制度安排上来促进中学生的课外阅读。

Extracurricular reading is the only way to improve the middle school students'language ability.The more extensive reading of extracurricular literature can expand the horizons of middle school students,increase their knowledge and insight,and improve their understanding,creativity and writing skills.The survey finds that the current reading situation of middle school students is not optimistic,as it is difficult for them to have more time to do more extracurricular reading.The reading ability of middle school students generally needs to be improved.The whole society should form a broad consensus on the importance of extracurricular reading,and promote the extracurricular reading of middle school students from the institutional arrangement.
