The Status and Enlightenment of the Construction of Website Interactive Communication Columns in American University Libraries

网站互动交流栏目建设是图书馆网站服务质量的重要评价指标之一。文章选取美国20所高校图书馆网站互动交流栏目作为研究对象,通过对“电话咨询”“E-mail咨询”“Twitter”“Facebook”“Instagram”“YouTube”“FAQ”“在线咨询”“馆员名录”等9项建设情况进行调查,获取其建设状况,发现其存在问题,并提出需进一步从栏目种类及内容、页面布局与规范、馆员素养、反馈机制等方面对国内图书馆网站互动交流栏目建设进行优化与提升。

The construction of website interactive communication columns is one of the important evaluation indicators for the service quality of library websites.This paper selects the interactive communication column of 20 university libraries in the United States as the research object.Obtaining the status and problems of the interactive communication column of American library websites by investigating the construction of telephone consultation,E-mail consultation,Twitter,Facebook,Instagram,YouTube,FAQ,and online consultation and librarian list.The paper proposes that the construction of the interactive communication column of the domestic library website should be further optimized and improved from the aspects of the category and content,page layout and specification,librarian quality and feedback mechanism.
