经过30多年的发展,“金色眼镜蛇”演习从双边走向了多边,从美国与其个别盟国和伙伴的合作,走向了美国与多个国家之间的合作;演习任务从单一应对传统安全问题,转向了传统安全、非传统安全问题兼顾。这些变化扩大了演习的地区影响力。美国旨在通过主导该演习来维持其军事存在,展示其维护地区安全秩序的决心和实力,制衡潜在或直接的挑战者;泰国意在通过该演习来巩固美泰同盟,学习美军先进作战理念,并借助美国的力量来解决地区非传统安全。“金色眼镜蛇”演习的地区影响比较复杂,一方面增强了泰国以及其他东南亚国家对美国的依赖性,另一方面也为中国与美国和其他东南亚国家提供了军事合作的机遇和平台。

After more than 30 years of development,the Cobra Gold exercise has evolved from bilateral to multilateral,from the cooperation between the Unit ed States and its individual allies to the cooperation between the United States and many countries,and the task of the exercise has shifted from dealing with traditional security issues to taking into account both traditional and non-tradi tional security issues.These changes have expanded the regional influence of the exercise.The United States aims to maintain its military presence by leading the exercise,demonstrate its determination and strength to maintain regional security order,and counterbalance potential or direct challenges;Thailand intends to use the exercise to consolidate its alliance with the United States,learn advanced operational concepts from the United States,and turn to the United States to solve regional non-traditional security issues.The Cobra Gold exercise has complex regional impacts.On the one hand,it increases the dependence of Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries on the United States,On the other hand,it also provides opportunities and platforms for military cooperation between China and the United States and other Southeast Asian countries.
