The latest research progress of resorcinol-formaldehyde carbon spheres as electrode materials is reviewed,including the characteristics of activated carbon spheres,the classification of activated carbon spheres.The application of resorcinol-formaldehyde carbon spheres as electrode ma-terials in super capacitors and batteries is introduced,as well as their electrochemical properties.As a kind of carbon material,resorcinol-formalde-hyde carbon spheres has a wide application prospect in the field of electrode.
