大气科学专业“短期天气预报仿真实验教学平台”建设构想

The Proposition of Establishment of a Simulation Platform for the Experimental Teaching of Short-term Weather Forecast for Atmospheric Science Major

南京信息工程大学开设的“天气预报综合实习”课程是大气科学专业必修的专业实践课,为气象人才业务技能的培养起到了重要作用。基于大气科学“天气预报综合实习”教学大纲,结合气象台短期天气预报业务流程和预报员培养需求,提出面向大气科学专业的“短期天气预报仿真实验教学平台”建设构想,为学生提供天气预报的“在线学习”“仿真实训”和“在线考查”的虚拟实验场景,帮助学生在最短时间内,以最便捷的方式全面认识天气预报业务,掌握天气预报流程和分析方法,有效提高毕业生从事天气预报相关工作的快速适应能力。

Weather Forecast Synthesis stablished by Nanjing University of Information Science&Technology is a compulsory professional practice course for the students majoring in atmospheric science,which plays an important role in cultivating meteorological talents.Based on the teaching syllabus of Weather Forecast Synthesis,the operational process of short-term weather forecast in meteorological stations and the training needs of forecasters,the construction concept of“a simulation platform for the experimental teaching of short-term weather forecast”is put forward.This platform can provide virtual experimental scenarios of“online learning”“simulation training”and“online examination”of weather forecast for students to help them understand weather forecasting service,forecasting process,and analysis methods well in a short time.Furthermore,it can effectively improve the ability of graduates to adapt to the work related to weather forecasting quickly.
