摘要
17世纪英国玄学派诗人约翰·多恩的《封圣》是一首著名的抒情诗。诗歌以自身故事的抒情人对他的交流对象,即他的受述者讲述的形式,展现了抒情人对他爱情的自信。他以各种方式为他的爱情辩护,确信即便他的爱情现在不被接受,但在未来,他将以自己与所爱的人的爱情载入圣者名册而成为他人的楷模。在这首17世纪的诗歌中已经包含对现代概念的爱情的清晰表达。
“The Canonization”by John Donne,the 17th century British metaphysical poet,is a famous lyric poem.The autodiegetic speaker tells his object of communication,that is,his addressee,showing the speaker’s confidence in his love.The autodiegetic speaker defends his love in various ways,and he is sure that although he is unable to win public the recognition and acceptance of his love during his lifetime,his love will be canonized and accepted and become a model for other lovers in the future.A clear expression of modern concepts of love has been contained in this 17th century poem.
