摘要
介绍加拿大普通高校普遍采用的工程教育实习与实训制度-"Co-op教育"制度的产生和近期的发展;阐明加拿大高校对Co-op教育的定义,阐述Co-op教育中实习期、双向评价等概念,分析Co-op教育的收效以及存在的主要问题。以加拿大三所知名大学为例,介绍Co-op教育的具体实施及其对大学本科生培养的重要意义;论述该制度对中国高校学生培养的可借鉴之处,希望对我国高校教育改革有一定的启示。
This paper introduces the history and new development of the Co-op education system commonly used in universities of Canada. It gives detail information of a complete Co-op education cycle,as well as the university-student-employer collaboration. Based on the practice in three famous Canadian universities of the east coast,west coast and Great Lakes region,Co-op training is proved to be important for the education of undergraduates. The paper emphases that the idea of the Co-op model can be of reference for the vocational education for undergraduate students in the Chinese universities.
