With China’s reform and opening up and economic development, China has attracted more and more at-tention from American academia, because the interests of Chinese people and Americans are more and more close-ly related. However, there are always different voices in American academic circles, concocting and advocat-ing various kinds of Chinese economic threats. According to what they advocate, they can be divided into "Made in China Threat Theory", "China Trade Threat Theory", "China Capital Threat Theory", "RMB Exchange Rate Threat Theory" and "China Food Threat Theory".
