Expressions of KCNQ1OT1 in tumors and its significance

长链非编码RNA(Long non-coding RNA,lncRNA)是一类长度超过200个核苷酸且缺乏开放性阅读框架的非编码RNA,在表观遗传、转录以及转录后等多个水平参与肿瘤的发生发展。lncRNA KCNQ1重叠转录物1(KCNQ1 opposite strand/antisense transcript 1,KCNQ1OT1)在多种肿瘤中异常表达并在其中起不同的作用。研究KCNQ1OT1在不同肿瘤中的作用及相关机制有望为肿瘤治疗提供新的思路。本文对KCNQ1OT1在肿瘤中作用的研究进展进行综述。

Long non-coding RNA(lncRNA)is a kind of non-coding RNA lacking of open reading frame,and its length is over 200 nucleotides.LncRNAs participate in the occurrence and development of tumors at the level of epigenetics,g ene transcription and post-transcriptional regulation.The expression of lncRNA KCNQ1 opposite strand/antisense transcript 1(KCNQ1OT1)is abnormal in various tumors and KCNQ1OT1 plays different roles in occurrence and development of tumors.Therefore,the research of the functions of KCNQ1OT1 and its mechanisms in different tumors will provide new ideas to the treatment of tumors.This manuscript reviewed the studies of KCNQ1OT1 in various tumors.
