基于话题因素的口语任务难度分析及教学对策

The Topical Factor in Task Difficulty in Speaking Instruction

任务难度是任务型口语教学设计时需要考虑的重要方面,直接影响口语的教学效果。影响口语任务难度的因素很多,话题因素是其中重要一项。文章从英语口语教学的话题任务入手,探讨影响口语任务难度的话题因素,从话题的熟悉度、话题的类型、话题的呈现形式和话题的条件等四个维度对话题因素进行分析,提出在口语教学实践中,应以话题因素为主区分口语任务难度,并以此作为教学对策应用于口语教学中。

In task-based language teaching,task difficulty is an important aspect in task design.Topic is one factor with an impact on task difficulty.This paper addresses the topical factor influencing task difficulty in speaking tasks.It focuses on the four dimensions of the topic:familiarity,types,genres,and conditions.The paper advocates the determination of task difficulty based mainly on the topical factor in speaking instruction and underscores the value of such a determination in providing practical strategies to EFL teachers.
