A Brief History of Ethical Intuitionism

伦理直觉主义是道德哲学研究领域中一个长期被讨论的话题,虽然对它的关注和重视程度总有起伏。从起初的广为接受,到一段时间的沉寂,再到近十几年的强势回归,伦理直觉主义的起起落落总是给哲学家们带来源源不断的争论资源。伦理直觉主义的历史非常繁复,伦理直觉主义在道德哲学史里的兴衰和沉浮,需要在纷杂的争论中,勾勒出伦理直觉主义究竟意味着什么,并在此基础上对当代的伦理直觉主义进行分类和进一步的理解。

Ethical intuitionism is a longtime discussed topic,though people s attention to it is varying in different times.The fluctuation of ethical intuitionism-it was widely accepted in the beginning,then fallen in silence for some centuries,and return powerfully in recent decades-has brought many debating resources for philosophers.This paper firstly glances at the history of ethical intuitionism and inspects its position in the history of moral philosophy.Furthermore,this paper attempts to sketch what does ethical intuitionism mean.Finally,a taxonomy and further understanding of contemporary ethical intuitionism will be given in the last part of this paper.
