Molten salt storage technology can solve the problem of energy storage in solar thermal power plant,and is widely used in new developed solar thermal power plant.The molten salt electric heater is one of the main equipments of the molten salt storage heat exchange system.The design and selection of the electric heater directly affect the safe and stable operation of the molten salt storage heat exchange system.This article introduces the different types of molten salt tank electric heater design application in solar thermal power plant,summarizes the advantages and disadvantages of different types of molten salt pot electric heaters,and provides the reference basis for future similar project.
