This paper analyzes the particularity and historical traceability of the"one fifth pinnacle"and the horizontal striation decoration of the St Joseph’s Cathedral Church building,and summarizes the formation reasons for the uniqueness of the architectural style of the St Joseph’s Cathedral Church,namely the influence of French academic circles on the studies of"Oriental"culture in the 18-19 th century.It also reveals the mutual penetration of cultures at different times and in different regions contained in the uniqueness of the architectural style of the St Joseph’s Cathedral Church.
