研究型大学教师参与国际化的影响因素及政策建议

The Influencing Factors and Policy Suggestions of Faculty Engagement in Internationalization in Research-Oriented Universities

摘要 研究型大学是高等教育国际化的先锋,教师参与国际化不仅是大学国际化的核心部分,更是促进大学教师发展的重要途径。对我国3所研究型大学专任教师的调查数据分析发现:教育国际化经历、国际化态度、国际化知识均直接影响教师的国际化参与程度,其中最显著的影响因素为教育国际化经历。教育国际化经历对国际化态度、国际化知识有正向影响,可通过这两个中介变量间接影响教师的国际化参与程度。根据影响因素分析结果,得出促进教师参与国际化的政策建议是:充分发挥海外引进人才的教育国际化优势;设计提高教师国际化参与意愿的激励方案;培育聚焦于国际化知识的教师学习型组织;发挥大学教师发展中心的统筹协调作用。 Research-oriented universities play a vanguard role in the internationalization of higher education.Faculty engagement in internationalization is not only the core of university internationalization,but also an important way to promote their own professional development.Grounded upon the sampling data from professional teachers in three research-oriented universities in China,the main findings are as follows:foreign education experience,internationalization attitude and knowledge have a direct impact on faculty’s internationalization degree,the most influential factor of which is foreign education experience;foreign education experience has a positive influence on the two intermediary variables of internationalization attitude and knowledge,which can indirectly influence faculty’s internationalization degree.The analysis results of the influencing factors provide suggestions for developing faculty engagement in internationalization:giving full play to the advantage of overseas talents’international experience;the incentive program to improve faculty’s internationalization willingness is designed;faculty’s learning organization focused on internationalization knowledge is cultivated;the constructive role of faculty development center to coordinate is played.
