The working class is the backbone of China’s socialist revolution and plays a key role in social transformation.For a long time,literary works reflecting industrial themes have attracted much attention,but the development of industrial novels has been difficult.After 1980s,Xiao Kefan,a Tianjin writer,emerged and occupied an important position in the literary world by virtue of his unique industrial theme and novel narrative mode.Xiao kefan’s industrial novels are different from the previous works.He combines his own experience and has a more real feeling.He uses delicate and flexible techniques to describe the lives of workers.Concerning the fate of workers,his creation has pioneering spirit and great significance.
