Henry V,a historical play,mainly narrates the battles of besieging Harfleur and Agincourt in the hundred years'war between England and France.It dramatizes the heroic and resolute commander Henry Ⅴ and the final victory,and highlights the miraculous victory of King Henry in the battlefield instead of the battle strategies and the battles themselves.With different narrative strategies and ways the drama depicts Hamption's punishing the rebellious nobles,besieging Harfleur,retreating to Calais and Agincourt campaign.For a war against France launched by Henry V,Shakespeare expressed a complex concept of war from multiple aspects:God's will,war's rationality,war's honor,war's disasters,war's responsibility,ransom and war strategy.
