This paper introduces and reviews research trends on the Tibetan language in 2018,such as de scription and analysis of the Tibetan or dialects,phonological description and phonological changes,speech rec ognition and synthesis,morphosyntax,natural language processing,translation and bilingual education,etc.This article not only can help to understand research orientations and trends in the Tibetan language,but can further promote study of the Tibetan language as well.
