从高峰论坛的定性研究看会议口译的忠诚原则

On Loyalty Principle of Conference Interpretation from the Qualitative Research on Summit Forum

基于目的论框架下忠诚原则的理论视角,本文从高峰论坛会议口译的定性研究着手,通过会议口译语料文本对比分析来探究译员在特定交际功能下灵活调整口译策略以致达到口译的忠实表达。其次,从忠诚原则广泛运用于协调译员与与会各方人际关系的原则为理论基础,通过分析译员自我评估问卷反馈,合理评估译员对与会各方是否达成功能加忠诚的预期目的,进而探讨忠诚原则在会议口译质量评估中的适用性。

Based on the theoretical perspective of loyalty principle under the framework of Skopos Theory, this paper explores a qualitative transcribed textual analysis on the source language and target language to probe the faithfulness of interpreters’ renderings and the appropriate adjustment of interpreting strategies in accordance with definite functional purposes in the conference interpreting. In addition, it also proposes a self-assessment questionnaire to survey the applicability of interpreters’ moral loyalty as the feedback to analyze coordination of specific purposes among the parties concerned in the conference interpreting. It concludes with the pragmatic application of loyalty principle to the quality assessment in conference interpreting.
