教书重在育人 育人重在教材——中华人民共和国成立初期中小学语文教材思想政治教育功能探析

Teaching for Cultivation and Cultivating with Textbooks:On the Ideological and Political Education of Chinese Textbooks for Primary and Secondary Schools in the Early Stage of the PRC

中华人民共和国成立初期,根据国家和社会需要编写、修订的中小学语文教材在培养学生当家作主的主人翁精神、树立社会主义价值观及共产主义理想信念方面发挥了重要的思想政治教育功能。在经济全球化和价值多元化的新时代,社会主义教育事业仍面临着严峻挑战,还应延续中华人民共和国成立初期注重教材思想政治教育功能的做法,发挥好教材在青少年学习、成长中的价值导向功能。

In the early days of the founding of the PRC,Chinese textbooks for primary and secondary schools,which were compiled and revised according to the needs of the state and society,played an important role in ideological and political education for cultivating students’ entrepreneurship,establishing socialist values and communist ideals and beliefs.In the new era of economic globalization and value diversification,socialist education is still facing severe challenges.We should continue the practice of highlighting the ideological and political education of textbooks in the early days of the founding of the PRC and give full play to the value orientation of textbooks in youngsters’ study and growth.
