This study carries out analysis on the development of artificial diets of Asian corn borer in China, to provide reference for artificial raising technology.The research and application of artificial diets formula is the key technology to ensure the growth, development and reproduction of the Asian corn borer.The paper analyses and summaries the research survey of artificial diets, the development trend of diet preparation and the application of various formulations for the Asian corn borer, and puts forward its promising prospect according to different research purposes.The laboratory population raising and supply can provide guarantee for the research of toxicology, insect resistance and biological control of these pests.
