This paper systematically sorted out the four stages of Chengdu's urban modern agriculture from its initial rise to its vigorous development,and summarized the prior experience of Chengdu's agricultural and rural development.Facing the new stage characteristics of agricultural and rural development in the new era,Chengdu's agricultural and rural development should conform to the new situation,implement new requirements and show new achievements.In the future,Chengdu's agricultural and rural development should take advantage of the trend of integrated development,the trend of green development,the trend of scientific and technological development,and the trend of international development to find a way of agricultural and rural development with Chengdu characteristics.
