中国博物馆解说词英译问题研究

A Study on C-E Translation Problems of Commentaries in Chinese Museums

文章以中国国家博物馆、浙江省博物馆、宁波博物馆为例,对中国博物馆解说词英译的现状进行调查,从博物馆解说词的翻译原则入手,通过样本分析,归纳总结各级博物馆解说词英译存在的主要问题与其差异性,并分析原因,进而提出解决这些问题的对策,以期为提高全国博物馆解说词的英译水平提供借鉴,从而促进中国文化走出去。

This study conducted an investigation of C-E translation problems of commentaries in Chinese museums,mainly through examining the data from three typical museums at different levels-National Museum of China,Zhejiang Provincial Museum and Ningbo Museum.Then,in this paper,based on rational translation principles,major problems in C-E translation of commentaries in Chinese museums were summarized and differences of the problems among the three different-level museums were analyzed;moreover,in light of possible causes,coping strategies were comprehensively put forward.
