Fang Yue is a poet and Ci poet in the Southern Song Dynasty,and his prose is rich in thought and profound in content. The content of his works includes the concern for the fate of the country,the feelings that the individual is not satisfied with, the display of his noble character and the description of his seclusion life. Fang Yue’s prose creation is rich in the third neck couplets,and has naturally appropriate literary quotations. The choice of words is appropriate and innovative. Fang Yue’s prose plays the strongest sound of patriotic times, has the characteristic of inheriting Su Shi’s style of writing, and reflects the ideological tendency of Confucianism and Taoism in the late Southern Song Dynasty.
