邰爽秋教育思想与教育实验述考

摘要 在中国近现代教育史上,邰爽秋是一位值得关注的教育家。20世纪20年代晚期,留美归国的邰爽秋把以杜威实用主义教育思想为主的西方教育理论和国弱民穷民生凋敝的中国国情结合起来,提出了以“民族复兴”为目标的民生本位教育思想,开展了以“运用教育力量,推进民生建设”为主旨的民生教育实验,发起成立中国民生教育学会,创设中国民生建设实验院,参与组织领导上海农村念二社民生教育实验和重庆巴县民生建设实验等活动。邰爽秋因其卓越的理论贡献和躬身力行的实践精神,与陶行知、梁漱溟、晏阳初并称为“中国教育界的四大怪杰”。 In the history of Chinese modern education,Tai Shuangqiu is an educator worthy of attention.In the late 1920s,Tai Shuangqiu returned from America.He combined Dewey’s educational thought of pragmatism with China’s conditions of a weak country with people in poverty,put forward the educational thought of the people’s livelihood with the aim of“national rejuvenation”,carried out the people’s livelihood educational experiment for the purpose of“using the education power to advance the construction of the people’s livelihood”,initiated the Chinese Education Association of People’s Livelihood,and established the Institute of Chinese People’s Livelihood Construction.He also organized and participated in the leadership of people’s livelihood educational experiment of Nian’ershe in rural areas of Shanghai and Baxian County in Chongqing.Tai Shuangqiu,together with Tao Xingzhi,Liang Shuming and Yan Yangchu,is called one of“the four great masters of Chinese education”in view of his outstanding theoretical contribution and practical spirit.
