摘要
目的探讨乳腺癌高表达基因1(BCOX1)在良恶性前列腺组织中的表达及其与前列腺癌患者病理特征和预后的相关性。方法通过免疫组化观察100例前列腺癌和80例良性前列腺增生组织标本中的BCOX1蛋白表达,分析其表达水平与患者年龄、Gleason评分、临床分期、血清前列腺特异抗原(PSA)、精囊侵犯、血管侵犯和切缘状态等临床病理参数之间的关系,探讨BCOX1对患者预后的影响。结果BCOX1蛋白表达水平在前列腺癌组织中的表达水平显著高于良性前列腺增生组织(P<0.05)。在前列腺癌组织中,BCOX1蛋白表达水平在不同Gleason评分和PSA水平之间差异具有统计学意义(P<0.05),而在不同年龄、TNM临床分期、周围血管侵犯、术后切缘状态和精囊侵犯之间差异无统计学意义(P>0.05)。Kaplan-Meier生存分析结果显示BCOX1高表达在前列腺癌患者的无生化复发生存期(BCRFS)及总生存期(OS)中显著低于低表达患者(P<0.05)。Cox比例风险回归模型分析结果显示BCOX1是前列腺癌患者BCRFS和OS的独立危险因素(P<0.05)。结论BCOX1在前列腺癌组织中高表达,异常表达的BCOX1与前列腺癌患者的病理特征及预后关系密切,可能作为前列腺癌不良预后的监测指标。
ObjectiveTo explore the expression and clinical significance of breast cancer overexpressed gene 1(BCOX1)in prostate cancer(PCa).MethodsThe protein expression of BCOX1 in 100 PCa and 80 benign prostatic hyperplasia(BPH)tissues was detected with immunohistochemistry.The relationships of BCOX1 expression and patients’age,Gleason score,clinical stage,prostate-specific antigen(PSA)level,seminal vesicle invasion,venous invasion,incision margin and prognosis were analyzed.ResultsThe protein expression of BCOX1 in PCa tissues was significantly higher than that in BPH tissues(P<0.05).In PCa tissues,the protein expression of BCOX1 showed statistically significant differences between preoperative PSA level and Gleason score(P<0.05),but showed no statistically significant differences among patients’age,clinical stage,seminal vesicle invasion,venous invasion and incision margin(P>0.05).Kaplan-Meier plots showed that patients with high BCOX1 expression had a shorter biochemical recurrence-free survival(BCRFS)and overall survival(OS)than those with low BCOX1 expression(P<0.05).Multivariable Cox analysis showed that BCOX1 was an independent prognostic factor for BCRFS and OS of PCa patients.ConclusionBCOX1 is highly expressed in PCa,which is an independent prognostic factor in PCa that can identify progression following radical prostatectomy.
