同为书写陕西民国乡村历史的力作,贾平凹的《山本》和陈忠实的《白鹿原》在"重建乡土秩序""社会转型期的人性""历史叙事"等方面既有相似之处,又有明显差异。如果将近年来的民国乡土历史写作视为从本土传统中寻找重建乡土文化资源的写作,《山本》可视为《白鹿原》的一种补充,但它并没有开启一种新的写作范式。站在新世纪的立场,如何超越既往的历史叙事传统,探讨富有生机和活力的民国乡村历史,在历史惊人的相似中,回应时代的难题,依然是一个长时段的探索过程。

As masterpieces writing on Shannxi rural history in the Republic of China,The Qinling Local Chronicles by Jia Pingao and Plateau of White Deer by Chen Zhongshi have both similarities and differences on "reestablish rural order","humanity in social transition"and"historical narrative". If we regard the local history writing in the Republic of China in recent years as the writing from the native tradition to find resources to rebuild the local culture,The Qinling Local Chronicles can be considered as a supplement to Plateau of White Deer,but it does not open a kind of new writing paradigm. Standing in the new century’s position,how to transcend historical narrative traditions of the past,exploring the rural history full of vitality of the Republic of China,responding to the challenges of the times in the striking similarities of history is still a long-term exploration process.
