福州地处我国东南沿海,凭借优越的自然地理条件、丰富的资源和优良的人文环境,从远古时代起,就发展了造船、航行事业,并逐步开展频繁的海上交通和贸易活动,从而形成发达的海外贸易港口。东冶港作为福州港的前世登场,从一开始就显示出多方面的优势和重要的历史作用,为其后闽中海外交通贸易兴盛奠定基础。
Fuzhou is located in the southeast coast of China.
