This paper introduces the international basis and standard of testing and determining coatings’ flammability and elaborates in detail the experimental methods involved in classification of coatings according to flammability and packaging exemption so as to correctly determine the flammability hazard of coatings products, adopt more rational transport packages, ensure the safety of coatings products in transport and lower enterprises’ cost of packaging and transport.
